The two site views are superposed on 1RCX by the large subunit’s Cα, so flipping between them moves only what moved. They share a rotation for the same reason. The particle is a second frame at four times the radius, and it wears one a human chose.
Ribbon colour is secondary structure, the repo default, except on L₈S₈ where it is subunit kind. The site is ball-and-stick: residue 201, the two carboxylates that grip the metal, the magnesium if the file has one, and whatever sugar is sitting in the mouth.
Turn the molecule, click copy, then paste into
view.basis in proteins.js under this view’s
frame key — particle or site — and
re-run the baker.
